Courtney Hoffmann Joins the Sport & Society Advisory Board

Courtney Hoffmann is a Learning Specialist and Academic Adviser at The George Washington University. She has worked, and lived, all over the country as she has continued to pursue a degree in Athletic Academic Support, which started at the University of San Diego and was completed at Gonzaga University. Her career has lead her to Maryland, Louisiana, and ultimately the District of Columbia. Ms. Hoffmann has worked with a variety of collegiate sports including Football, Track and Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Water Polo, Women’s Soccer and Softball, most recently. She is an active member of multiple professional organizations, and has served as an article reviewer for the past year as well. Additionally, Ms. Hoffmann has been granted humbling opportunities to present her current work and research regarding the incorporation of yoga and mindfulness with those students (and athletes) that are struggling with learning disabilities and/or learning concerns.
