Book Author Benefits

Copyright

Copyright of the text will be attributed to the book and chapter authors. The authors are granting Common Ground an exclusive international license to publish the work in all formats. Permission to republish or reproduce should be sought from Common Ground. In the case of images whose copyright is owned by the author, the author grants the Common Ground a non-exclusive international license to publish these images within the chapter. The publisher will place no restrictions on you for the future use of these images for other purposes.

Research Networks Membership

Once your book is published, you will become a registered member of the Common Ground Research Network associated with the imprint that publishes your book. Research network membership grants you complimentary online access to books and journal(s). In addition, if you want to attend the next conference for that community, your conference registration fee will be waived. To have your registration fee waived please submit a support ticket with 'Conferences' for the department, 'Registration' for the topic, and include the title of your book in the subject line of the ticket. Please indicate which Conference you will be attending and if you require any special accommodations.

If you plan on attending the conference, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan a possible launch for your book at the conference.

Author Discounts and Complimentary Copies

If you have a single-author work or are the sole editor of a book, you will receive four complimentary print copies of your book once it is published. Chapter contributors to edited collections will receive complimentary eBooks.

Authors and editors may order additional print copies at a 40% author’s discount. If you would like to use the 40% discount, please do not purchase your copies through the online bookstore. Rather, send us an email with the name of the book you authored or edited and the number of copies you would like to order.
