Founded in 1984, we have been curating conferences and publishing journals for over 40 years, and are committed to principals of access, participation and equality.
24 annual conferences each year in partnerships with local committees and research network Advisory Boards.
Over 40,000 articles published in our journals. Striving to be at the leading edge in the investigations of the critical questions of our time.

We partner with host institutions that are prepared to offer intellectual leadership. Hosts collaborate with us to develop the conference theme, identify plenary speakers, and explore innovative presentation formats. They also participate in the Research Network’s Advisory and Editorial Boards.
Hosting a Common Ground conference provides substantial international visibility and connects your institution to a global community of scholars and practitioners who are reimagining the future of knowledge exchange.

Organizations may also form deeper, ongoing partnerships with one or more of our Research Networks. These collaborations strengthen the network’s capacity for interdisciplinary exchange and link institutional initiatives to our global community of researchers.
Partners gain access to publishing, event, and platform collaboration opportunities within their network and may co-develop programs or special focus themes.

Interested in founding your own Research Network? Common Ground Research Networks provides the digital infrastructure, publishing platforms, and administrative support to make that possible. Each Research Network functions as an integrated ecosystem of scholarly activity—including a dedicated web presence, an annual conference, a peer-reviewed journal, and a book imprint. We work closely with founders to tailor a model that fits their vision and serves their community—building a sustainable foundation for long-term collaboration and global engagement.
