While some of our journals are published as fully Gold Open Access, the majority operate under a Hybrid Open Access (HOA) model, offering flexible options to meet the diverse needs of researchers worldwide. Authors may select their preferred access pathway during the Rights Agreement phase and revise this choice at any time after publication.
Our approach emphasizes accessibility, affordability, and sustainability. Through our membership model, authors receive CGScholar Points that can be applied toward Open Access publication costs, ensuring that equitable access remains achievable across career stages and regions. Members also receive additional discounts on publication fees, reflecting our not-for-profit commitment to reinvesting in the infrastructure of scholarship.
Open Access publication offers significant benefits—increased visibility, broader readership, and greater citation potential—extending the impact of research across disciplines and communities. Through the CGScholar platform, we provide a trusted and participatory environment for digital scholarship that democratizes access while sustaining the long-term integrity of the scholarly record.
