We are guided by a collaborative leadership structure designed to ensure academic integrity, inclusivity, and the long-term vitality of the community. At the center of each network is the Research Network Chair, who provides intellectual leadership and represents the network within the broader Common Ground organization. The Advisory Board offers strategic and scholarly guidance, helping shape conference themes, community initiatives, and partnerships. The Editorial Board supports the journals, contributing disciplinary expertise and maintaining the quality and relevance of published research. Together, these roles uphold Common Ground’s commitment to scholar-led, member-based, and globally engaged knowledge communities.

Each Research Network is guided by an Advisory Board composed of leading and emerging scholars, practitioners, and institutional partners in the field. The Advisory Board provides intellectual leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that the network’s conferences, publications, and community initiatives remain relevant, inclusive, and of high academic quality. Board members contribute to the ongoing development of the Research Network by advising on themes, reviewing proposals, recommending speakers and reviewers, and fostering connections across disciplines and regions. Through this collaborative governance model, Common Ground Research Networks upholds its commitment to member-based, scholar-led, and globally engaged research communities.

Editorial Boards

Each Journal is supported by an Editorial Board that brings disciplinary insight and international perspective to the development of the journal. Board members provide guidance on editorial direction, contribute to the maintenance of scholarly standards, and serve as ambassadors for the network within their academic communities. Their involvement reflects Common Ground Research Networks’ commitment to collaborative, scholar-led publishing, where the exchange of ideas and expertise strengthens the quality and reach of our journals.
