The new CGScholar (KX) is not simply an upgrade. It brings together all major platform applications, including Communities, Events, and Publisher, into a unified and modern environment built around the idea of the Knowledge Experience.
To enable this transformation, CGScholar has been completely rebuilt. As a result, not all data from the legacy system could be migrated. This approach ensures long-term stability and performance, while allowing space for future growth. We are committed to supporting users throughout this transition.
Your profile is central to your participation in CGScholar and to how you are discovered by other members of the scholarly community.
We strongly recommend reviewing and updating your profile after logging in. Completing additional profile information improves visibility, supports more effective networking, and enhances your experience across communities and events.
You can update your profile at any time using your profile settings page.
We have migrated and matched as much event-related data as possible, including active proposals and registrations.
However, digital presentation media from past events could not be transferred to the new system. This includes uploaded presentation files and archived session media.
If you notice any issues related to your proposals, registrations, or presenter status, please contact support using the built-in help tools available on the relevant Event page.
Migration of content into the Publisher (Creator) area is still in progress.
If you do not yet see your article, chapter, or publication, there is no action required at this time. Content will continue to appear incrementally as the migration proceeds. All publications are expected to be visible by the end of January at the latest.
CGScholar (KX) is an evolving platform. New features, refinements, and guidance will continue to be introduced over time.
This User Guide will be updated regularly to reflect platform changes and to provide clear, up-to-date support information. For assistance, please use the built-in support tools available throughout the platform.
