Your CGScholar Wallet is where you can find a summary of your Points and Credits:

Points: in the CGScholar scholarly communication ecosystem, you earn Points when registering for a Conference or becoming a Member. These points are used in the Rights Agreement phase of the journal publication process.

Credits: credits are added to your Wallet from refunds and can be used at any payment point in the CGScholar scholarly communication ecosystem.

What is CGScholar Credit?

CGScholar Credit is CGScholar's internal system. You can earn CGScholar Credit in various ways, but most commonly they are received via a refund. You can transfer credits to other users or use them to offset (or entirely pay for) other purchases such as registrations and bookstore purchases.

Please note that all CGScholar Credit credits issued after September 1st, 2019 will expire 12 months after they are issued. All credits issued before September 1st, 2019 will expire on September 1st, 2020.

Accessing Your CGScholar Credit

After logging in to your CGScholar account, you can access Your Wallet from the navigation bar.

Using Your CGScholar Credit for a Purchase

Your CGScholar Credit can be used as store credit on any purchase. Before proceeding to checkout, there is a checkbox next to your total (circled in red) and a display of your total CGScholar Credits (boxed in blue). Select the checkbox in order to apply your CGScholar Credits.
