Phase 3 - Rights Agreement

After completing the Peer Review phase, you will receive a notification that your manuscript has entered the Rights Agreement phase. You will need to select the appropriate Rights Agreement.


Common Ground Research Networks offers several publishing pathways, including Open Access options and an All Rights Reserved pathway with Green Open Access self-archiving. Each pathway has its own licence terms and publication charge.

You may also change your agreement at any time after publication.

What are CGScholar Credits (Points)?

Within our Research Network ecosystem, Points are earned through membership and conference participation. They can be applied toward publication costs or Open Access fees.

What is your Open Access statement?

Common Ground supports sustainable, equitable Open Access. All English-language journals are Hybrid Open Access (authors choose their model during Rights Agreement), and all Spanish-language journals are Gold Open Access (CC BY).

Do you offer fee waivers?

Yes. Through the Common Ground Author Fund, a limited number of fee waivers are granted annually for authors from developing nations whose work demonstrates excellence.
