The Event tab in the top bar opens three lists, stacked in the left column.

The filter panel is the useful part of this page. Date and location do the obvious work; three others do more.
Six things, and the one to read first is how it runs: Hybrid Conference, Online, or in person, and with which communities and host institutions.
The community underneath the title is the one that runs it. Follow that community and its deadlines come to you — announcements arrive in your feed, whether or not you are a member.

The header carries the dates with their time zone, the title, how it runs, and the community behind it. Two buttons sit beneath: Submit proposal and My registration. Beside the dates are a bookmark, a mail icon and a share icon.

An event page is a microsite. Everything the conference does is behind these eight tabs, whether you are in the room or not.

A conference is a multi-day programme with a call for papers, a schedule and passes. An event is smaller. The tabs above the grid separate them, so filter to the one you want.
Tick Online only. Look for the Hybrid Conference or Online chip on a card — hybrid means you can do either.
Follow the community. Its announcements — calls for proposals opening, deadlines moving — arrive in your feed. Following is free, and it is the reliable way not to miss a deadline.
Saves the event so you can come back to it. The number beside it is how many others have saved it, which is a fair sign of how busy it will be.
They are the conference’s, not yours. The header states the time zone — work out the difference once, at the start.
My events, in the left column. Anything you have registered for or been invited to is there.
