Open the community, then select Pricing from the tab row. Two things sit there: what membership includes, and what it costs. Read them in that order — the benefits are what you are actually buying.
No Pricing tab means no paid membership to buy. Not every community has one.
Pricing is set by each community, not by the platform. You will meet all three arrangements.
So read the Pricing tab of the community in front of you rather than assuming it works like the last one.
Three parts: the amount, how often it is charged, and the terms underneath. The terms are the part people skip and the part that says whether you can cancel.
The card is the button. There is no separate Join control — selecting the card takes you to payment.
Selecting the card opens payment. Confirm what you are buying, enter your card, and complete the purchase. Membership starts as soon as the payment goes through — there is nothing to wait for and no one to approve you.
